- 3 medium-size cooking apples, cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup bacon drippings
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
How to Make It
Place apple slices and bacon drippings in a large skillet; cover and cook over medium heat 10 minutes or until apples are tender. Sprinkle sugar over apples; cook, uncovered, an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to a warm serving platter; serve immediately.
