Ingredients
- 3-14 oz bag(s) Bread crumbs Seasoned
- 3 stick(s) Butter Melted
- 6 cup(s) Chicken brooth
- 3 cup(s) Carrots Diced
- 3 cup(s) Celery Diced
- 3 cup(s) Onions Diced
- 3 tablespoon(s) Garlic Minced
- 3 cup(s) Mushrooms Sliced
- Salt
- Pepper
- Poultry seasoning
- Rosemary
- Sage
- Thyme
Preparation
- 1. In a large stock pot, melt butter
- 2. Saute onions, carrots, celery, garlic & mushrooms until tender
- 3. Season with salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, sage, rosemary & thyme to taste
- 4. Add chicken broth and bring to boil
- 5. Remove from heat, add bread stuffing & mix
- 6. Taste & add additional seasonings as necessary
- 7. Stuff turkey with bread stuffing and cook according to manufacturers directions; or place bread stuffing in aluminum roasting pan, cover with foil & bake at 350 for 1 hour
