Bread Pudding With Whiskey Sauce

Yield 12 servings (serving size: 1/12 of pudding and 2 tablespoons sauce)


  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup fat-free sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter or stick margarine, melted
  • 9 (1-ounce) slices French bread, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
  • Cooking spray
  • Whiskey Sauce

How to Make It

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.

  2. Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Add bread cubes; toss gently. Let stand 30 minutes.

  3. Spoon mixture into a 13- x 9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until pudding is set. Serve warm with Whiskey Sauce.
