Bread Pudding Sauce

Yield Makes 1 1/4 cups

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 1/2 teaspoon banana extract
  • 2 bananas, sliced

How to Make It

  1. Combine butter, brown sugar, and remaining ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat, and cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes. (Do not boil.) Remove from heat.
