Brandied Hard Sauce

Yield about 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 egg yolk, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons brandy
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to Make It

  1. Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
