Brambleberry Pie

    Worthy of a Special Occasion

    Everything I want in a berry pie: sweet yet a little tart; buttery, flakey crust; a filling that is full of berries (not syrupy sauce). It sets up wonderfully, too. I used half rasperries, half blueberries (both home frozen), and it was so good I ate leftovers for breakfast this morning.

    Easy and delicious. I added just a little extra cornstarch, but maybe didn't need to because it set up very well.
