This is one of my family's most frequently used tofu recipes, and one of very few ways I can get my kids (ages 6 and 2) to eat tofu. The tofu remains silky soft, not fried. It is very easy to make. The leftover sauce is perfect to pour over brown rice on the side or stir fried veggies.

I think this is a great recipe, and besides being a bit of a pain to get the sugar melted properly, I think it's quite tasty! I do, however, double the sauce...

Fabulous! Do double the sauce because it is so good.

This is delicious! It does have a lot of sugar, but it is a great way to serve tofu to someone who may be wary.
