Bourbon-Vanilla Bean Frosting

A splash of bourbon and vanilla bean paste punch up the flavor of our Bourbon-Vanilla Bean Frosting. Spread this frosting on your favorite cake or cupcake.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 (2-lb.) package powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 5 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla bean paste
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

How to Make It

  1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar alternately with milk and bourbon, beating at low speed just until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla and salt.
