A splash of bourbon and vanilla bean paste punch up the flavor of our Bourbon-Vanilla Bean Frosting. Spread this frosting on your favorite cake or cupcake.
Makes 6 cups
Total time: 15 Minutes
1 cup butter, softened
1 (2-lb.) package powdered sugar
1/2 cup milk
5 tablespoons bourbon
2 tablespoons vanilla bean paste
1/8 teaspoon salt
Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; gradually add sugar alternately with milk and bourbon, beating at low speed just until blended after each addition. Stir in vanilla and salt.
