- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 2 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) bourbon
- 2 eggs, beaten
How to Make It
Melt butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water. Add sugar and bourbon, stirring until sugar dissolves.
stirring until sugar dissolves. Gradually stir one-fourth of hot bourbon mixture into beaten eggs; add to remaining hot mixture in pan, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until mixture thickens. Serve hot.
