This is really an easy way to infuse some big wonderful flavors into salmon that is cooked in a healthy. I use skinned salmon because it is easier to work with and the exposed meat really pulls in the flavor. I also suggest that you don't skip on the bourbon. For the batch I made today, I used Four Roses Single Barrel. It does make a difference. Family and friends alike really enjoy this dish. Recipe says maranate for 10 minutes, which is fine, but I don't think you want to exceed 30 minutes. This is a winner.
This recipe is so delicious & so easy. My entire family loves it (5 and 10 yr old sons and hubby!). I reduce the brown sugar amount some and keep the rest the same. Also use Jack Daniel's b/c that's what is in the house. I also get skinned salmon from Kroger butcher. You've got to try this recipe!
