- 4 medium potatoes, cleaned
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Butter or margarine, melted (optional)
- Salt to taste (optional)
How to Make It
Soak potatoes in cold water to cover for 1 hour; drain.
Cook potatoes in boiling water to cover 25 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon salt, and cook an additional 10 minutes or until tender. Drain well. Serve with melted butter and salt to taste, if desired.
