We were so disappointed with this. At best it could be described as an ice -- not a sorbet -- and even at that it wasn't very good at all. Followed the directions exactly; even used an ice cream scoop to try to replicate the picture. My guest and I finished our dessert, barely, and the rest went far, far away.
Yes, the lemon zest does go in the recipe for a stronger lemon flavor. Delicious and easy to make for a summer sorbet. My blender and food processor are currently in storage since I am in between homes but this sorbet still works out if you just mash the ingredients with a masher and freeze.
