Blueberry-Lemon Maple Syrup

- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 (12-oz.) package frozen blueberries*
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- Combine maple syrup, blueberries, lemon zest, and lemon juice in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat to low, and simmer 5 minutes. Serve warm.
- *1 (12-oz.) package frozen mixed berries may be substituted.
