How to Make It

Step 1

Heat a large, heavy skillet over high heat for 2 minutes.

Step 2

Coat pan with cooking spray. Add asparagus to pan in a single layer. Cook, without stirring, 2 to 3 minutes or until asparagus is lightly charred. Cook 3 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally.

Step 3

Remove pan from heat; let stand 1 minute. Add butter, pepper, and salt; toss.
