Blender Mayonnaise

Yield about 2 cups


  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Dash of red pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable oil, divided
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

How to Make It

  1. Combine egg, salt, mustard, paprika, red pepper, and 1/2 cup oil in container of an electric blender; process at high speed until thickened. Slowly add 1/2 cup oil, blending well. Add vinegar and lemon juice; process until well blended. Slowly add remaining 1 cup oil, blending thoroughly.
