    Worthy of a Special Occasion

    My sister works in a mushroom mine where they are allowed to take home extra pickings after orders are filled. (lucky me !) I'm always on the look-out for new recipes to use her sharings and made this one last night for the first time. Followed it to a T except grilled the portobellos. Outstanding !! Can't wait to make it again !

    Not sure if it was just the particular cajun seasoning I used but the flavor of the mushrooms was EXTREMELY overwhelming. I like spicy and strongly-flavored food but it was a bit too much. I would definitely cut down on the cajun seasoning next time.

    I love this salad - I always forget to put the cajun seasoning on my mushrooms and it's still delicious.
