Blackberry Sauce

Ingredients

1 (16-ounce) package frozen blackberries, thawed
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch

Preparation

Combine blackberries and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a boil, and boil 5 minutes. Process mixture through a food mill. Combine a small amount of hot blackberry mixture and cornstarch; stir into remaining blackberry mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened. Cool.
