Black Cat Grilled Cheeses

- 24 slices pumpernickel bread
- 12 slices American cheese
- Cut cat shapes out of bread slices using a 3-to 4-inch cat-shaped cookie cutter. Cut the same shape from the cheese slices. Sandwich the cat-shaped cheese between two cat-shaped bread slices. Butter the outside of the sandwich and cook in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side, until toasted. Repeat using remaining bread and cheese.
