Preparation

  1. TOPPING
  2. 8 oz soft cream cheese
  3. 1/8 t salt
  4. 1 beaten egg
  5. 12 oz pkg miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  6. 1/3 c sugar

  7. Combine cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt in small bowl. Add chips to mix and refrigerate

  8. CAKE DOUGH
  9. 1-1/3 cup flour
  10. 1/3 cup melted butter or margarine
  11. 1 cup sugar
  12. 1 T white vinegar
  13. 1/4 cup cocoa
  14. 1 t vanilla
  15. 1 t salt
  16. 1 t baking sode
  17. 1 cup water

  18. Mix all together. Line teacake-sized cupcake pans with tine cupcake liners. Fill 1/2 full with cake mixture. Top with cream cheese mixture but NOT TO TOP. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes, no more! Perhaps even 1 - 2 minutes less!
