  • 1 can(s) 14.5 ounce stewed tomatoes
  • 15 ounce(s) can black beans, undrained
  • 1 teaspoon(s) dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
  • 1 onion
  • 1.5 cup(s) uncooked instant brown rice
  • 1.5 cup(s) uncooked instant brown rice
  • 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil


  1. Directions

  2. In large saucepan, heat oil over medium-high. Add onion, cook and stir until tender. Add beans, tomatoes, oregano and garlic powder. Bring to a boil; stir in rice. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes before serving.
