My husband and I loved this salad and I'll definitely make it again! It's a refreshing blend of flavors. I used turkey bacon and added cucumbers and a carrot. I'm a newbie when it comes to Tarragon and it's quickly becoming a favorite taste. Not sure I would fix this for guests unless I knew that they were willing to try something new.

Great quick and inexpensive dinner salad. I omit the blue cheese because of dietry restrictions, but that doesn't make this salad any less delicious. I have this atleast one a month.

Very good. It sounds unusual. When I describe it to friends they kind of say... hmmm interesting. The vinaigrette is sour but if you break up the runny egg yolk and lightly mix it into the salad it provides a creaminess that softens the sourness. I didn't have bacon so I pan fried some salami slices until crispy, worked well. I also substituted sunflower seeds for walnuts and feta for blue cheese. Really yummy.

Delicious--I love the "egg on top" business. I halved the recipe for the two of us but must confess, made the full amount of dressing and the greens did not seem overdressed at all. Another good CL recipe: Eggs Poached in Curried Tomato Sauce.

Great salad. I switched the blue cheese to Feta but stuck to the rest of the recipe. The bacon bits jumped out between the sweet sour and tasted great. I didn't add an egg and instead combined it with a side tortellini.
