BISQUICK BUTTER BISCUITS

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter (firm)
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • butter or margarine, melted

Preparation

  1. heat oven to 450F.

  2. cut firm butter into 1/4i" pieces

  3. toss Bisquick mix and butter
  4. pieces with fork until coated

  5. add milk; stir just until milk is absorbed (do not overstir)

  6. turn dough onto surface dusted with Bisquick mix

  7. knead 5 times

  8. pat to 1/2 inch thickness

  9. cut with 3inch cutter

  10. place on ungreased cookie sheet with sides touching for soft sides or 2 inches apart for crispy sides

  11. bake about 9 minutes or until golden brown

  12. brush with melted butter
