This chili was a cinch to make!! And, it made the house smell wonderful, not to mention it was delicious!! My husband and 4 year old son loved it, too!

I made this recipe for a family party using beef and venison. Everyone told me how much they loved the chili--especially all the men! We offered toppings as well (sour cream, jalopeno, green onion...) and served w/ corn bread! I am making it again for a holiday party this week!

this recipe is far from chili...i will never make it again. they need to change the name to spaghetti meat sauce. my advise...try a different recipe.

I made a double recipe of this today for a big family get together tomorrow. It is so good!! I hope that there will be some in there tomorrow b/c I keep sneaking little bowls of it. Yummy!!!

I made this chili back in the beginning of November for a ladies get-together. Everyone went crazy over it! My husband does not care for onions, so he didn't like it all that much, but everyone else thought it was the best they'd ever had--and it was my first time making chili. It made so much that everyone brought some home to their children and spouses. Almost every person called me back to tell me how their families loved it and wanted the recipe. I plan on making it tomorrow again--it is perfect for cold weather. It isn't too spicy or too mild. This is a great recipe and an all around crowd pleaser.

This chili is AMAZING! So easy to make - it seemed very thick when I mixed everything together so I added about a cup of beef broth and a bottle of beer and it was perfect! It was so hearty and filling - everyone loved it!

Very pleasantly surprised by this recipe. It's hearty, and just spicy enough. Extra hotness can be added for those who want it. It filled my slow cooker to the absolute brim - I was constantly checking for overflow! I substituted a lb of sausage for a lb of the beef, and added a can of chili-seasoned pinto beans. Also added an extra teaspoon of salt.

Makes the house smell so good as it simmers all day. Perfect for a cold day!

I made it for another family, and they loved it. Some of the kids added tabasco sauce. I added more chili powder, and next time will add more garlic. But this was great--and I didn't even have time to let it simmer. I know that it'll be even better tomorrow! Best recipe I've found. Thanks.
