Definitely a keeper because I love a simple recipe that turns out great. I doubled the recipe. In the interest of cutting a few calories, I sub'd half the butter w/ applesauce, replaced the white sugar w/ equal parts brown sugar & splenda, but then ended up adding about 2 tbsps white sugar to get the taste right. Threw in about 3 tbsps ricotta cheese just because I needed to use it & a tbsp of vanilla because it seemed like the right thing to do. Sprinkled slivered almonds on top. Thanks for the recipe!

As the name of this recipe implies, these were the Best Ever Banana Muffins. They were simple to make, moist and very flavorful. I had planned on taking half to my sunday school class the next day, but when I woke up, most were gone because my husband obviously enjoyed them. I will definitely make these again.
