    A classic recipe. I found I had to use medium heat to melt the sugar. Work fast after you add the seeds. This stuff is addictive

    This was delicious and fun to make...and I learned a lot about melting sugar. When it clumps up and you think you have ruined it, keep on stirring and the sugar will melt beautifully.

    The sugar never melted to the consistency that I look for in a brittle. The benne seeds were toasted properly and the "brittle" has a nutty taste but it is overly sweet due to the sugar's consistency.

    loved this! We love this brittle...and now I can make it instead of buying it. Wonderfully easy. I would serve this at a small casual party/ dinner
