Beef with Rosemary-Mushroom Sauce

    This is so simple, yet has a big taste payoff! I did modify a couple of things: sliced a regular package of mushrooms, left out green onions entirely (hubby doesn't like), used dried parsley, chose the dried rosemary, marinated for closer to 50 minutes, cooked steak 4mn each side. Cooked sauce for 5mn, put steak + juices back in pan for 5mn (in sauce), then removed again for last 5mn. Used Red Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon for the wine. Served with fried potatoes. Didn't cut steak into slices, just cut a piece off for each person's portion. Will make again very soon!

    Very good flavor! And very easy to prepare...tastes like it took a lot more work and a lot more time than it actually did!

    Very simple recipe with a huge flavor! There are never any left-overs with this meal even though there are two people who really don't like sauces. Creates tender steak, lovely sauce with beefy flavor that is just right for mashed potatoes.
