Beef vegetable soup

Ingredients

  • 6 cup(s) Beef broth
  • 1 Yellow onion Chopped
  • 2 Red potatoes Chopped
  • 6 Carrots Chopped
  • 1 cup(s) Peas
  • 3 Celery stalks
  • 1 cup(s) Red wine
  • 1 Garlic pod Minced
  • Beef
  • Beef shank or ham hoc
  • Any other veggie
  • 1 Ear of corn
  • 2 can(s) Tomato sauce
  • 4 Tomatoes Chopped and peeled

Preparation

Sauté beef in pot until brown on all sides. Remove from pot. Sauté celery, garlic, and onion. Add tomatoes, broth, tomato sauce, and beef shank and bring to a boil. Add remaining veggies bring back to a boil and then cover and simmer for hours.

Serve with French bread.
