Braised Beef with Onion, Sweet Potato, and Parsnip

    Definitely a solid recipe & tastier than similar premade roast beef dinner from grocery deli, but nothing special. I increased the sauce ingredients and veges but still would have liked about double of each in proportion to meat.

    I wouldn't change anything about this recipe. Whole family, including my 10 month old, loved it. All of the bits were soft enough for her to pick up & chew.

    The simplicity of the recipe and excellence of the veggies have made this our go-to winter recipe. We also make up a big bowl of the veggies periodically to bring to a friend who is in a retirement home, where she complains that they don't serve enough root vegetables.
