Basil Vinaigrette Recipe
For a crisp summer favorite, serve this dressing over shrimp-pasta salad.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3/4 cup olive oil

Preparation

Process first 6 ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides. Turn blender on high; add 3/4 cup olive oil in a slow, steady stream.
