The Southern citrus burst of the homemade liqueur, Satsuma-Cello, delivers a festive twist to the julep cocktail, Basil-Satsuma Julep.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
1/4 cup basil leaves
1 tablespoon sugar
2 cups ice
2 cups club soda
Muddle basil leaves with sugar. Add Satsuma-Cello. Let stand 5 minutes. Strain into a pitcher. Stir in ice and club soda.
