Basil Oil

Ingredients

1/2 cup firmly packed fresh basil leaves
1/2 cup canola oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper

Preparation

Process basil leaves in a food processor 1 minute or until smooth, stopping twice to scrape down sides. With processor running, slowly pour oil in a thin stream through food chute. Add salt and white pepper.
