- 2 sprigs fresh mint
- 2 sprigs fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon Lime-Basil Syrup
- 4 ounces (1/2 cup) rum
- Club soda
How to Make It
Place first 3 ingredients in a sturdy old-fashioned glass. Crush to a pulp with a muddler or wooden spoon.
Add lime juice, Lime-Basil Syrup, and cracked ice. Stir in rum, and top with club soda.
