Basil Mary

Prep time 14 mins
Yield 16 servings (serving size: 1/2 cup)
You'll love the fresh basil flavor in this classic cocktail. We liked it without vodka, but if you prefer a spirited version, add 3 cups chilled vodka to the pitcher before serving.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups low-sodium tomato juice
  • 1 cup packed fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
  • Garnish: fresh basil
