This recipe was wonderful. Definitely a hit. I did not make the grits. Great on its own!

I've made this on several occasions and always get great reviews. Even just making it for dinner for 2! I have forgotten the lemons, but haven't seen much difference. Careful when serving hot! (You still have to peel the shrimp.)

This has to be one of the most amazing cheese grit recipes I have ever tried. I have been trying to find a recipe that comes close to a local restaurant that serves them, and this is SO CLOSE!!

Wonderful! I made the recipe exactly as is. The only thing I would alter is the cooking time. I think I could have cooked this 5 minutes less and the shrimp would have been more tender.

Love this recipe! Have been making it since it was in the magazine in 2009! Husband loves it. I peel the shrimp, add a little red pepper and cook 5 less minutes. Sooooooo yummy!
