Barbecue Sauce

Yield 3 1/4 cups


  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle chili sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 (1.25-ounce) package dry onion soup mix

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, stirring well; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

  2. Note: Leftover sauce may be refrigerated for other uses.
