    I have cooked this for years, sometimes I use the lemon rind, sometimes I don't. I seldom have time to marinate, though this does provide more flavor. My family loves salmon, and my daughter was weaned on this recipe. It is sweet and savory. Use plenty of the spice mixture, it carmelizes wonderfully! On the grill I use foil, and cook for about 12 minutes at 400.

    Very good! I don't make salmon a lot, but will be making it more often now! This was super easy and I didn't change a thing. Looking forward to trying this on the grill when it's warmer.

    This dish is absolutely delicious. I have made it several times for dinner parties, and everyone raved about it. You can eliminate the marinating step if you're in a hurry, but I definitely recommend the hour in the juices (don't leave in the juice any longer or the fish will start to "cook"). I have followed this recipe exactly, and I have also plank grilled it on my gas BBQ (my personal favorite as the wood plank gives the fish a wonderful smokey flavor). Although this recipe falls into the "healthy" category, it is so lush and flavorful, you think you are splurging big time! I just love it!

    This is my GO TO recipe for baking salmon. Ive used it many many times for family and friends and everybody loves it. I buy canned pineapple (or fresh) and use the juice from the can for the marinade, then put the rings on top of the salmon and bake. I usually double the rub mix as its never enough for me. I love this recipe!

    Outstanding! Have been making this recipe for years. A simple, delicious, and healthy meal, which makes it a real winner! Love to serve with the original suggested pairing of roasted asparagus drizzled with balsamic browned butter!

    This recipe was okay. The combination of flavors was honestly a bit odd to me (lemon & cinnamon??), and I probably wouldn't make it again.

    The recipe is good as is, but it is great with two minor ingredient tweaks. When I made it the second time with changes, my boyfriend, who has a sweet tooth and doesn't tolerate spicy food, deemed this the best thing he's ever eaten. My changes were decreasing the chili powder to 3 teaspoons and increasing the brown sugar to 2-1/2 tablespoons. The change makes it slightly less spicy and slightly sweeter.

    This recipe is so wonderful that I hardly use any other. What exciting flavor! And the salmon comes out wonderfully moist and tender. Absolutely perfect as is. My favorite sides with this are sweet potatoes and asparagus (which can roast in the same oven), but you could use many others.
