This was soooooooo good! Next time I will probably use more bananas and slightly overlap them. I also put the fruit on first.

I made this for a holiday party and it was a hit! Following the advise posted on a previous review, I added the bannanas and cherries to the pan before the nuts to make for a better presentation. This cake has great flavor with a perfect amount of sweetness. I will definately make this again.

Hi am pleased to see that so many still utilizing this recipe and tweaking it too. The inspiration for this recipe came from my Mom's pineapple upside down cake made from scratch and took quite a long time to prepare. Experimented with Bisquick and was able to make it moist and flavorful. Add some vanilla ice cream too! Thanks and keep cooking!

This was just heavenly. I followed the advice of one of the reviews and put the fruit on first and then the nuts. I used self rising flour instead of the bisquick. Yummy, Yummy!!
