Seasoned rice vinegar adds sweetness with low acidity. Find it in the international section of your market, or substitute apple cider vinegar and a pinch of sugar.
Makes 2 1/4 cups
1 teaspoon orange zest
1 tablespoon seasoned rice vinegar
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Dash of nutmeg
1 apple, cored and diced
1 small celery stalk, sliced
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted
Whisk together first 4 ingredients. Fold in remaining ingredients.
