- 2 1/2 cup(s) flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
- 1/2 cup(s) shortening
- 1 1/4 cup(s) sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
- 1/4 cup(s) milk
- 1 cup(s) bananas mashed
- Cream shortening and sugar gradually. Cream until fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, ad vanilla, dry ingredient with milk and bananas, stirring only until enough to blend. Pour into 2 greased 9 inch pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. When cool, put layers together with whipped cream. Garnish with bananas.
