Balsamic Vinaigrette

Yield Makes 3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons honey

How to Make It

  1. Sauté onion in hot oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 2 minutes. Add garlic and next 4 ingredients. Remove from heat; whisk in vinegar and honey.
