Balsamic Glaze

1 cup balsamic vinegar
Tomato halves, broiled
Crumbled goat cheese
Fresh basil leaves, torn


Bring balsamic vinegar to a boil in a large heavy saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, 10 to 15 minutes or until reduced to 1/2 cup and a syrup-like consistency. Remove from heat; cool completely. Drizzle over broiled tomato halves topped with crumbled goat cheese and torn fresh basil leaves.
