Baked Linguine with Meat Sauce

    This is a favorite with the family and at pot luck dinners. I tried adding more pasta as others suggested and found that it was too much pasta. I like it just the way it is. I always use fat free sour cream and cream cheese .

    Made this when my kids had some friends over (ages 5-9) and everyone loved it. My husband really loved it. One of the kids is allergic to dairy, so I saved some of the sauce and served it to her over some extra linguine and she thought it was delicious. Overall a huge hit in our house. I used 1/3 less fat cream cheese and fat free sour cream, no green onions and threw some Penzey's pasta sprinkle into the sauce. Will absolutely make again.

    This was realy awesome. I have halved basically everything to make 4 servings. I was afraid of to much tomato so I did not add the tomato sauce and at 20h00 South African time I could not find green onions in our town, of Somerset West, so I just used ordinary onions. It was delicious. A glass of Cabernet Suavignon 2009 from the Spier collection called Kaya went well with this recipe. Dit was vrek lekker!

    Really good dish. My husband especially loved it, but my kids (3 and 6) ate it well, too.

    very cheesy. not real good tomato flavor, very rich. would not make again
