    I fixed this for something different and we really enjoyed it! Even my husband who wasn't sure it had enough meat to make it a meal. I used skim milk and low fat cream cheese and it was still good.

    I liked this recipe. I added the parm cheese to the sauce as someone mentioned and also warmed the sauce on the stove rather than stirring every 30 seconds in the microwave. It didn't quite make enough for a family of five so will double it next time. Also, it needs something but not sure what....maybe a dash of ground red pepper? I will make again. This is a good basic recipe you can experiment with.

    I found there to be way too much sauce for the amount of pasta, it was edging on being soupy.. I like such a heavy sauce to lightly coat the pasta, that could be a personal preferrence though. So if you prefer a lighter coating of sauce, you could probably cut back by 1/3. Also the flavor of cream cheese and italian seasoning (I used McCormick) was a little overwhelming, my husband agreed. I will try this again, next time with less cream cheese, less seasoning and more butter.

    Overall, my family liked this dish.I doubled the recipe for 1 pound of pasta and I also had too much sauce, and found it to be a bit thick.and the Italian seasoning a bit much. Will try a different seasoning and will thin the sauce, maybe add the parm cheese to the sauce.

    My husband and I both love this dish. I made the sauce in a glass bowl over a pot of simmering water, as my microwave has a tendency to cook unevenly. I used neufchatel and skim milk. We modified it slightly, adding a couple of dashes of cayenne and a little crushed red pepper - we like things spicy! We have eaten it twice recently. We also made it with half the bacon and two chopped, steamed broccoli crowns, and it was delicious! We ate it with seared tuna steaks. This is definitely a new favorite at our house.

    Made this with a few changes. First I used 12oz pasta and doubled the butter. Then I doubled the bacon and put half in the sauce and half on top. Huge family hit! Dinner tonight in fact!
