This spread/dip has a wonderful smoky flavor. It's the tastiest "baba" recipe I have found. If you get lots of eggplant in your garden like I do, it'll be gone as fast as you can grow it. It's a bit more trouble than other recipes because you have to fire up the grill, but definitely worth the effort. I a a drop of liquid smoke to really bring out the smoky flavor. Yummmmm.

Used yogurt instead of sour cream. Fabulous and easy!
