Avocado Salsa

Try this fresh and flavorful Avocado Salsa as a side dish, a tasty topping to your tacos, or simply scoop it up with some tortilla chips for a delicious snack.

  • Yield: 2 cups (serving size: about 1/4 cup)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped peeled avocado
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a bowl; lightly mash with a fork.
