Autumn Pork Chops and Baked Apples

- 4 pork chops
- 1 tablespoon(s) flour
- 3 tablespoon(s) butter
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 1 cup(s) apple juice
- 4 Granny Smith apples sliced
- 1/8 cup(s) sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Salt and pepper the pork chops to taste. Lightly dredge in flour and brown in butter over medium heat, flipping once to brown both sides.
- Once chops are browned, stir in onion and apple juice. Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer for 7 to 8 minutes or until the chops reach an internal temperature of 145 F.
- Meanwhile, place apple slices on a baking sheet. Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 F for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve the apples over the pork chops.
