Aunt Ruby's Sweet Potatoes

Make your sweet potatoes taste like a delicious dessert with a brown sugar topping.

3 cups sweet potatoes, peeled, cooked and mashed
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup milk
Brown Sugar Topping:
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 cup chopped nuts


Mix all ingredients together. Spoon into a greased 13"x9" baking pan. For Brown Sugar Topping, combine ingredients; mix well. Then sprinkle with Brown Sugar Topping. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
