This was great. I sprinkled it with sesame seeds before serving adding a nice crunch. I made it for guests and precooked the asparagus until almost done, added the ginger and removed from heat until just before serving when I continued with the recipe.

This is REALLY tasty. The only thing I would change is to shorten the initial sautéing time when I use very thin asparagus. I also did not add the sesame oil.
