Sauteeing for 4-5 min. just didn't seem long enough. There's a lot of vegetables in the skillet for them to be reasonably done in that period of time. I sauteed a little longer, then turned off the stove & put a lid on it and let the heat continue to cook them until the rest of the meal was ready. The flavor was good. Just not outstanding.
Asparagus Sauté
Eating all your veggies is easy when the veggie is Asparagus Saute. Asparagus and red bell pepper are sauteed in melted butter and served with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. How simple and delicious is that?

Ingredients
- 2 pounds fresh asparagus
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 large red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
- 1. Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus.
- 2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus, bell pepper, and remaining ingredients, and sauté 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Serve immediately.
