Asparagus Sauté

Eating all your veggies is easy when the veggie is Asparagus Saute. Asparagus and red bell pepper are sauteed in melted butter and served with a sprinkling of salt and pepper. How simple and delicious is that?

Ingredients

2 pounds fresh asparagus
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 large red bell pepper, diced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

1. Snap off and discard tough ends of asparagus.

2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus, bell pepper, and remaining ingredients, and sauté 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Serve immediately.
